• If your color has excessive reddish undertones, we recommend using our OPAL GREEN mask or mixing the BLUE and YELLOW masks to achieve the right shade of green to neutralize unwanted red tones.
• If your color has excessive yellow undertones, we recommend using our VIOLET mask or mixing LIGHT PINK with COOL BLUE to achieve the right shade of violet to neutralize unwanted yellow tones.
• If your color has excessive orange undertones, we recommend using our BLUE mask to neutralize unwanted reflections.
• If your color has excessive green undertones, we recommend using our FIRE RED mask to neutralize unwanted reflections.

Ideally, the masks should be applied to clean, dry hair. The amount used will depend on the hair’s length. Distribute evenly, then comb through and let it sit for 5 to 25 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Use gloves during application.

• 5 minutes to refresh the color.
• 15 minutes to correct the color.
• 25 minutes to create a new color.

The masks can be used once a week or as needed whenever you want to refresh your color. In addition to adding color, the mask will enhance shine and provide hydration to your hair.

The masks do not cover gray hair. However, a pre-treatment can be done on gray hair to allow the use of our Chroma products effectively.

You won’t have any issues. In fact, if your hair has been previously bleached or has highlights, the more vibrant colors may last for a longer period of time.

The intensity of the color on your hair varies depending on hair type, condition, and care. It typically lasts between 8 and 12 washes. The color will gradually fade with each wash, so you may want to reapply it more frequently to maintain its vibrancy.

Unlike permanent hair color, this formula does not contain ammonia or peroxide, which are the ingredients that can damage your hair and scalp. Our Chroma Barcelona products are enriched with hyaluronic compounds and conditioning agents that hydrate and nourish the hair. Avoid direct contact with the scalp to prevent staining. In visible areas, any residue is easy to remove, but on the scalp, it is less noticeable and more difficult to eliminate.

There is no issue with mixing one color with another. As a suggestion, test the new color on a small, hidden strand before applying it to your entire hair. With Chroma's 23 colors, you can create endless combinations.
